Amazon.com.au has revealed Black Friday was the biggest shopping day in Amazon Australia’s history.
Top-selling items in Australia included Nintendo consoles and games, Phillips Hue smart lights, LEGO products, Huggies nappies, and Sony gaming products.
A number of fashion vendors took part in the day, with 50% off Calvin Klein & Van Heusen clothing as well as Nike, Adidas and Puma.
Amazon Australia country manager Matt Furlong said the day smashed all records.
"We were delighted to see customers in Australia getting the most out of our tremendous deals making Black Friday the biggest shopping day in Amazon Australia’s history.”
Here are some Amazon Australia Black Friday facts:
• The top-selling Amazon devices in Australia were Echo Dot, Echo Show 5, Kindle Paperwhite and Fire TV Stick.
• Garmin smartwatches were amongst the top-selling items on Global Store.
• When it comes Black Friday Deals, Australian customers showed their love for tech, with gaming and smart home products including Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Bundle, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and TP link Smart Plugs amongst the top-selling products.
• The best-selling deals were savings on select Phillips Hue Smart Lights, Select PS4 Games, Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones and Blackmores Vitamins and Supplements.
•Aussies were eager to improve their financial know-how with The Barefoot Investor 2019 Update being the top-selling book during Black Friday.
