Australian fashion designer Alex Perry will close his flagship store to focus on online sales, according to media reports today.
Perry is scheduled to shutter his only retail store, at Sydney's heritage-listed Strand Arcade, in March.
It is understood the move will allow him to focus on strong eCommerce sales and a growing base of 100 stockists globally.
Perry told News Ltd digital sales were nearly four times greater on the web than his only physical store and admitted the “retail environment is changing."
Perry has been contacted for further comment.
