Australian fashion designer Alannah Hill has extended her collection to include her first range of eyewear, exclusive to Alannah Hill boutiques.
Created in collaboration with Bluroptix, the boutique Australian eyewear designers known for their collaborations with Cutler & Gross, Marni and Akira, the debut line draws on classic retro designs with a chic modern twist.
Frames for each piece have been crafted in Italy from the highest grade Italian acetate - an organic material made from natural cotton – in order to produce a high-class gloss finish.
Lenses in the collection have been ground from superior Japanese compound organic resin, hand-dyed to ensure crystal-clear vision and offer strong UV protection, in a bid to tailor the range to the sunny Australian climate.
