Byron Bay clothing label Afends has opened its first Sydney flagship store in The Galeries.
As part of its launch into Sydney, Afends has also opened the doors to a retail store in Newtown on King Street.
"Afends has a loyal customer base from Sydney, especially in the city,” founders Jonathan Salfield and Declan Wise said.
“We wanted to give our consumers creative cool stores that they can visit and experience the brand and see it in action.”
In line with the launch of the two stores, Afends has also released its new collection.
The new range is inspired by environmental opportunities, with the aim to connect technology and natural fibres to build a sustainable future. This includes new textiles, prints and colour palettes that utilises futuristic, digital aesthetics.
Further, the new collection brings laser-etched hemp denim, digitally printed recycled nylon mesh and puffers, with earthy hues woven into chunky organic knits and recycled floral knitwear.
These new announcements come following partnerships and range launches throughout 2022.
In March, Afends partnered with jewellery label F+H Studios to create a collection of sunglass chains to compliment its recently launched sunglasses range.
