Accent Group has opened its 500th Australian store at Mount Druitt today.
The new Hype DC store marks a significant milestone for the business, with a further 20 stores slated to open in 2020.
Since 2016, Accent's store footprint has grown from 319 to 500 despite difficult retail conditions, proving that bricks-and-mortar retailers are still relevant to Australian consumers.
The business attributes this growth to innovative in-store experiences, continual investment in digital capabilities, its people and its robust store strategy.
Accent Group CEO Daniel Agostinelli said that the business has been able to maintain growth due to quick adaptation to trends.
