LA-based online retailer Revolve will offer Australian consumers free and fast delivery from today.
The etailer has identified Australia as its second largest market outside of the United States.
It is also the further reach for international shipping from its LA home base.
Revolve will counteract this with free express shipping with three-day parcel delivery to Australian consumers.
Revolve CEO Mike Karanikolas said this is a huge move for the company.
"Two-thirds of Australian online shoppers shop overseas.
"We are a very customer-centric company and want to provide all our customers, no matter where they’re located, the same fast and easy shipping benefits.
"After extensive research for the right parcel partnership, we are very excited that today Revolve is able to offer free three-day express shipping to Australia."
Revolve vice president of international Kai Li said the move will ease trade for consumers
“U.S. retailers face huge obstacles to provide quick and seamless shipping to Australia.
"By distance, Australia is our farthest top market.
"We value customer feedback and we do our best to provide the best customer experience, regardless of the difficulty."
According to Fortune, Revolve is on track to sell $400 million worth of dresses, hats, and other trendy young women’s apparel this year.
