Australian sportswear label 2XU has ramped up its digital expansion by launching new eCommerce sites in the Nordics region.

The new localised sites will service 2XU customers in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden and will help the brand to provide a better customer experience as well as making it easier to scale and introduce new updates to the site.

The new sites also have Swedish payment platform Klarna integrated into the site, giving consumers further flexibility when paying.

2XU also has plans to improve its existing Australian, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Japan, United States and Canadian sites in line with its global digital strategy.

2XU head of global eCommerce Amanda Green said that the new sites in the Nordics is the first step in the business' strategy.

"Speed, innovation and performance are everything for our customers and that applies as much to our products as it does to our eCommerce operations.

"Launching our new websites in Scandinavia is a very exciting first step in our global transition to [cloud-based operations], enabling us to operate more efficiently, with more agility, and reduce our management overheads," she said.
