Emerging designer platform 100 Squared is expanding its presence nationwide.
The retail concept space, which initially launched at Westfield Sydney CBD, Miranda and Bondi, will now launch a Melbourne 100 Squared location at Shot Tower Square this October.
The move to expand, based on the success of its Sydney locations, will see 100 Squared host five stores at Melbourne Central running from October 1, 2012 to February 28, 2013 to capitalise on holiday sales.
Commenting on the growth of the concept, 100 Squared director Justin Levy said it has been key to the development of several local designers which has helped cement its presence.
“Since launching the 100 Squared concept two years ago several of our designers now have permanent free standing stores,” he said.
100 Squared is a retail concept which aims to nurture and grow future retail brands by delivering consumers a shopping experience that has the essence of a market with boutique retail store luxuries. Designers showcasing at 100 Squared are also provided retail real estate, fit-out and marketing support.
