MELBOURNE: New independent label The White Wolf has to date secured approximately 15 boutique stockists for its winter 2010 launch collection.

The label is predominantly a menswear venture with street style at the core.

Actors Nathan Phillips and Declan McGovern and aircraft engineer Andrew Bradley are behind the new venture, with former Vicious Threads designer Ivan Gomez acting as a consultant.

Esas in South Yarra, Salvador & Polly in Richmond and Scarff in St Kilda are among the stores that have taken on the new brand.

The launch collection comprises T-shirts with wolf images, distressed denim jeans in various colours, long sleeved tops with pocket detailing, two-toned hoodies with leather trims and a brown, vintage inspired leather jacket. T-shirts are available for women.

Prices range from $60 for T-shirts through to $899 for the leather jacket.

An expanded offer for spring/summer 2010/11 is likely to include shirts.

The White Wolf is scheduled to take part in Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2010 in the City of Stonnington 'Renegades' show.

Shot in Venice Beach, California, the launch campaign features Australian Make Me A Supermodel winner Rhys Uhlich, LA based Guess model Alexander Rodriguez and LA model Jana Banker.
