NATIONAL: A licensing restructure at global luxury brand Nina Ricci will see its first ever swimwear collection hit Australian shores next year.
French company Lejaby will take over the global lingerie license for Nina Ricci from January 1, replacing former holder Millesia Group.
As part of the new arrangement, Lejaby will develop an inaugural swimwear line for Nina Ricci for the spring/summer 2010 season.
Sydney-based lingerie importer Altois Australia will release the new line across the country next year. Spokesperson Gwen Mary could not reveal further details on the venture as "the former licensee is still working".
Altois Australia currently imports brands such as Lejaby, Elixir de Lingerie, Rasurel, Princesse Tam Tam and Chantel Thomass. The importer recently relocated to a new showroom in Sydney's central business district.
