SYDNEY: Emerging designers are being invited to participate in the next Young Blood: Designers Market, held by the Powerhouse Museum.
Fashion, jewellery, art and furniture designers have the chance to hold a stall at the two day event, which is held to support new, upcoming talent.
It will be held on November 28 to 29 at the prestigious museum in Darling Harbour. Usually held indoors, this time it will be in a covered outdoor space.
Applications must be lodged by November 6 and successful designers will be notified by November 13.
Young Blood: Designers Market is promoted as a launch pad for new brands, with strong marketing support offered by the Powerhouse Museum to attract crowds. The idea is for designers to trial new products and engage directly with customers to obtain feedback.
The Powerhouse Museum is Australia's largest museum and it houses 385,000 objects spanning history, science, technology, design, industry, decorative arts, music, transport and space exploration.
