SCANDINAVIAN INVASION: Swedish “eco-couture” designer Camilla Wellton will launch a capsule range of eight coats and jackets into the Australian market over autumn/winter 2010.

Priced from $600 to $1000, the garments are manufactured in Sweden and northern Europe from 100 per cent wool.

Wellton’s launch follows the opening of cult Swedish label Acne’s first flagship store in Melbourne, and she joins fellow Swedes Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair, Filippa K and Whyred in making a venture down under.

Camilla Wellton was on the brink of securing orders from two Melbourne retailers and one Sydney boutique at the time of press.
