SYDNEY: Luxury e-tailer Kath Purkis has proven that when times get tough, the tough get diversifying.
Purkis has just launched a new online arm aimed at capturing the fast fashion dollar. The 23-year-old first entered the market in April 2008, with the launch of her high-profile store Le Black Book.
The store stocks a broad range of luxury Australia and New Zealand brands including Kirrily Johnston, Ellery, Fleur Wood, Karen Walker and DavisEyes as well as it own eponymous house brand.
Her latest venture Noir Shop is described as 'Australia's answer to Topshop'. The store will be updated weekly with 10 new styles sized between 6 to 14 and priced under $100.
Key styles for the spring/summer 2009/10 season include body con dresses, statement blazers, ballerina-inspired dresses and and cut-out garments.
