MELBOURNE: The technical art of millinery will be revealed in a forthcoming photographic exhibition, Mould N Shape.
Milliner Paris Kyne has teamed up with photographer Fiona Hamilton to create a series of eight images that capture the fine details of the hat making craft. Finished work and materials are photographed in abstract, black and white form.
Known for his stand out spring racing carnival headpieces, Kyne is based in Toorak, Melbourne and has been a milliner for over 20 years. Last year he was inducted into the City of Stonnington Fashion Hall of Fame for his work.
The exhibition will be held at Mars Gallery, Port Melbourne from October 13 to November 1.
