Secured lender Commonwealth Bank has appointed PBB as receivers of the publicly listed company.
The company, formerly trading as Austin Group, has recorded consecutive losses with an $11.4 million hit for the 2008/09 financial year.
Rochford, Chip & Pepper, Crusty Demons and Billiecart were among the 20 brands operating under Mercury Brands.
