PERTH: Industry players will have the chance to fine tune their business prowess when the third International Fashion Incubator Conference is held in Perth next year.
The international event is designed to cover issues such as fashion business growth, fibres, textiles, financing and business support.
A key aspect will be the launch of an International Fashion Incubator Organisation. This will be designed to help fashion professionals form alliances, share networks and develop business opportunities.
Founding manager of the Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre Carol Hanlon said the conference has previously been held in the US and UK, however she made a bid to bring it to Perth. This was enabled by a scholarship granted by the City of Perth Convention Scholarship programme.
The event will be held in September at the same time as the Perth Fashion Festival.
