NATIONAL: Luxury menswear store Harrolds has scored an exclusive coup to stock international label Tom Ford.
Launched this month, the designer suit and accessories store will offer the label in line with European seasons.
Suits, shirts, knits, scarves, bow ties, pocketchiefs and shoes are included.
The northern hemisphere winter 2009 season is now in store, with a focus on transeasonal pieces. The collection features neutral tones such as brown, charcoal, cream and white, contrasted with vivid purple, blue, pink and orange.
Designer Tom Ford launched his eponymous menswear label in 2005 with eyewear, before creating apparel, fragrances and cosmetics. He had previously worked as creative director of Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent.
Harrolds director John Poulakis said he was thrilled to secure the label and believed it would complement the store's existing portfolio. Harrolds has two stores in Australia, one in Collins Street, Melbourne and one in Martin Place, Sydney.
