NATIONAL: Guess Australia has joined the legion of fashion brands moving to online retailing with the launch of a dedicated online store.

Guess's Australian licensee, Busbrand, will manage the operation of the local online store. Busbrand's managing director Simon Nankervis said the online store will add to Guess Australia's recently unveiled web site.

“The internet has become a major part of how the Australian consumer shops and we are excited to be able to offer the Guess experience online to everyone in Australia no matter where they are located,” said Nankervis.

Features of the site include a preview section where new season product can be purchased prior to its arrival in Guess Australia's 35 retail stores. Customers can also access member's only prices on particular items when they create an online Guess account.

Product available for purchase on the online store includes handbags, wallets, shoes and accessories for both men and women. Customers can search for product by style, size, colour, range and price.

Busbrand has managed Guess's presence in Australia since 2002. For more on Guess Australia, pick up a copy of the February 26 edition of Ragtrader magazine.
