NATIONAL: Cancer Council Australia has struck a new licensing deal for its sun protective headwear range.

The national cancer control organisation has appointed Greenwich Headwear to develop its 2010 range of headwear for men, women and children. The new range is scheduled to hit stores in June 2010 and will feature a UV protection factor of 50+.

Cancer Council Australia CEO Professor Ian Olver said the partnership with Greenwich Headwear would “refresh” the organisation's product offering. The new headwear range will be available from Cancel Council retail outlets as well as selected pharmacies and department stores.

Greenwich Headwear joins other Cancer Council licensees including Sunshades Eyewear.
