Lovely La Luna Sydney’s southern residents can indulge in a little more luxury following the opening of La Luna Boutique in Cronulla. The beachside retail venture is the brainchild of fashion buyer Tracy Collins and is plushly decked out with pale pink, white and gold interiors. Guests including Chealsea O’Brian and Lloyd Godfree sipped on Moet as they perused the Australian designer collections.
Students at The Strand No less than 300 people turned out to witness the eveningwear designs produced by some of Australia’s freshest talent, the third-year students of the Sydney Institute Fashion Design Studio. The cutting-edge garments were showcased in a slick catwalk competition in Sydney’s Strand Arcade and the winner, George El-Sissa, walked away with a cash prize for his revealing white ruffled gown. Attendees included Nicola Finetti, Glynis Traill-Nash, Elena Demetriou, Nic Huxley and Akira Isogawa (pictured).
Makeovers and magazines Fashion stylist Donny Galella was recruited to make over five members of Centro Roselands Shopping Centre’s staff. One lucky staffer was also picked to grace the cover of the new Roselands Style magazine, distributed through the centre.
