NATIONAL: Streetwear brand Ed Hardy will overhaul its back end operations in order to support an Australian retail roll out.

Ed Hardy currently operates 14 stores in Australia with a further four sites scheduled to open before Christmas. The brand will open a stand alone site in Adelaide in November as well as a further three concessions in Myer department stores across the country.

New software, part of the ThreeQ Holdings product range, will be rolled out to stores throughout 2009 and 2010. The new software will mean changes to the retailer's point of sale, retail management and merchandise planning systems.

Other Australian fashion retailers that have implemented ThreeQ software systems in the past two months include Webster Holdings, owner of brands including Jigsaw and Marcs, and menswear retailer Roger David.
