SYDNEY: Travellers will have access to key fashion labels at reduced prices with the launch of the largest duty free shopping store in the southern hemisphere.
The SYD Airport Tax and Duty Free store was unveiled yesterday and includes concepts for Diesel, Lacoste, DKNY, Ferragamo and CK Jeans, as well as a number of accessories labels. It features a Tag Heuer flagship precinct and a Masters of Time arcade with Cartier, Breitling, Bulgari and Girard Perregaux.
In addition many beauty brands such as Givenchy, Jo Malone and Kiehl’s will be offered, along with technology, alcohol and food.
Located in the international departures terminal, it covers more than 4000 square metres of floor space. The store is part of a $500 million renovation of the airport, due to be complete in May.
SYD Airport Tax and Duty Free store is operated by ariport retailer The Nuance Group. It manages more than 400 shops across 58 airports and 19 countries.
