MELBOURNE: Men's apparel and accessories will be dramatically increased at the new David Jones flagship store in Bourke Street.

Three dedicated menswear floors will see selling space boost by 77 per cent for the category. More than 25 new men's apparel and accessory brands will be introduced to the department store's portfolio.

On the ground floor, business shirts from a number of department store exclusive brands will include Herringbone, Baubridge & Kay, Geoffrey Beene, Nigel Lincoln and Abelard. New fit out spaces will appear for contemporary apparel brands including Calibre and Saba, as well as accessories areas for Oroton, Hugo Boss, Bally and Paul Smith London.

Level one will be a youth oriented apparel floor with brands including Ksubi, Zanerobe, Scotch & Soda, Nudie, FCUK and Diesel.

Level two will be home to career attire, with branded fit outs from Canali, Ermenegildo Zegna and Simon Carter among others.

The new menswear precincts are part of the stage one re-opening of the central Melbourne store, scheduled for November 28.
