Footwear label Peter Sheppard is combining both traditional and new-age ways of engaging with consumers, as it launches its spring summer collection.

The retailer has seen 92,000 spring summer catalogues delivered to its customers across Australia and New Zealand, despite the challenges of COVID.

However, with COVID restrictions still in place across the country, the retailer has taken time to fine-tune its online offering, launching digital initiatives including online video appointments, digital gift cards and free returns for exchanges.

"As customers look to purchase footwear from the safety and comfort of their own home, the Peter Sheppard Footwear team have plans to facilitate further online growth in the season ahead," the brand said in a statement.

"As the pandemic continues with further stay at home orders possible, the collection not only features sandals and heels but a range of slippers, slides and sneakers that are ideal for toned down events and days spent at home.

"The Peter Sheppard Footwear buying team has homed in on footwear styles that slot seamlessly into the everyday lives of women," Peter Sheppard said.

The spring summer collection is available at Peter Sheppard Footwear stores in Melbourne, Sydney (currently both closed) and Brisbane as well as online.

Peter Sheppard Footwear is Australia’s largest importer of European women’s shoes.
