Australian luxury house Zimmermann has teamed up with Bondi-born luxury speaker brand Atlas Harmonic to launch an ultra-limited-edition loudspeaker.
Only ten Tufnel speaker pairs are set to be released worldwide on June 7, each made-to-order in Australia by Bondi-based sound artist Atlas Gouverneur, on a nine-week lead time. Prices start from $24,900 per pair.
The very limited range was developed ahead of Zimmermann’s Summer 2026 activation in Antibes, South of France.
The speakers are available as a standard-sized pair or accompanied by a bespoke plinth, and each set is offered in two custom colourways, Jaffa and Soft Blush, with both colours carefully selected by Zimmermann.
"Working with Zimmermann was unlike any project I'd undertaken before," Gouverneur said.
"I had never created a fully monochromatic loudspeaker before. Every material reacts differently to colour, texture and light, so achieving that level of visual consistency required me to develop entirely new finishing techniques.
“The goal was to create something capable of shaping atmosphere in the same way art, architecture and lighting can."
Sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann founded their eponymous brand in 1991 in Sydney, Australia. Today, the brand has over 100 boutiques globally, including 20 across Australia.
