Zimmermann has opened its new flagship store on Melrose Place.
This is the brand's second store in Los Angeles, the first opening in 2011 on Robertson Boulevard.
Zimmermann passed over several potential sites until the ideal space on Melrose became available.
It will mark Zimmermann’s fifth retail location in America with additional stores already open in New York City, East Hampton and Americana Manhasset.
Zimmermann’s new 3,000 square foot space will house a large selection of the brand’s RTW offerings as well as key pieces from the swim collection.
Designed by Meacham, Nockles Macqualter, the store’s aesthetic is clean, fresh and minimalist.
Founder and creative director Nicky Zimmermann said this is a major step as the brand builds momentum in the US.
"I’m so happy to be opening our new store on Melrose Place - we have been looking for a more expansive flagship space for a while and I’ve always loved that relaxed and elegant feeling of the street – it feels like a little LA sanctuary.
"The original antiques store had great bones and we’ve really tried to keep some of those original features so its stays feeling true to the street.
"I love the vaulted ceilings and flashes of natural light that come through the domes – it’s a really lovely canvas for us to present our collections to clients."
Sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann founded the ready-to-wear and swim brand in Sydney in 1991.
