Australian label Zhivago will make its international runway debut at LA Fashion Week (LAFW).
The announcement comes from a joint partnership between the Australian Consul-General, G'Day USA and LAFW.
The event's fashion director Kim Krempien believes Australian labels such as Zhivago are received well by American consumers, particularly in LA.
"Their brand story and unique aesthetic vision are a perfect fit for the LA market. Californians are very receptive to Australian brands due to the similarities in culture and climate."
Zhivago will showcase its latest collection amongst designers from 13 countries.
The label was founded in 2012 by design duo Lydia Tsvetnenko and Lara Kovacevich.
The runway show is set to take place on October 8th.
