Collette Dinnigan, Romance Was Born and Jenny Kee will sit alongside the likes of Galliano, Lanvin and Burberry as part of a special Australian showcase.
Wool Modern is a week-long exhibition which will take place a week prior the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.
Open to the public for free, the global initiative appeared for the first time in London last year and will land in Sydney from April 24 - 30 before heading to Shanghai.
Wool Modern is part of 'Campaign For Wool', spearheaded by Prince Charles to advocate the fabric as an ethically and environmentally superior choice.
Wool Modern has been curated by London-based director of Bacchus Studio Charlotte Lurot, who will be presenting the exhibition at Pier 2/3, Walsh Bay in Sydney.
Australian designers have been commissioned to submit custom-designed, one-off pieces with entrants including Josh Goot, Ellery, Tina Kalivas, Camilla & Marc, Willow, Collette Dinnigan, Jenny Kee, Akira Isogawa and Romance Was Born.
Their works will be presented alongside those of Galliano, Lanvin, Burberry, Paul Smith, Rick Owens, Christian Lacroix and more.
Wool Modern will also feature an exclusive insight into the wool archives of Thierry Mugler and Sonia Rykiel.
Exhibition highlights include Giles Deacon's woollen 'eggs', Sibling's 'knit monster' and a specially designed Erdem red carpet.
