ragtrader.com.au can offer a preview of the designer garments which will be presented before the Prince of Wales as part of his visit to Australia.

A selection of Australia's leading designers will present their wool designs to the Prince of Wales today, as part of his commitment to the global Campaign for Wool.

Now in its third year, the initiative aims to promote its renewable and versatile qualities.

Designs from Akira Isogawa, Camilla and Marc, Dion Lee, Josh Goot and Kym Ellery will be presented at a special event inside the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Campaign for Wool executive Peter Ackroyd said the initiative, supported by the Prince of Wales, has been instrumental in driving demand for the fibre.

Australian Wool Innovation chief executive Stuart McCullough confirmed Australia will launch its 2013 Wool Week activities in April/May 2013.

“We are very pleased to be given this opportunity to meet with HRH Prince of Wales and present some of our important Campaign for Wool partners,” he said.

“With the support and endorsement of it patron, the global Campaign for Wool continues to connect to consumers around the world highlighting the benefits of wool in apparel and interiors."
