Australian womenswear label Witchery has donated $447,000 worth of stock to charity Fitted for Work.
This is the second partnership between the organisations, representing the largest donation given by Witchery and the largest received by Fitted for Work. The charity assists Australian women experiencing disadvantages with career opportunities and employment.
The partnership commenced in 2020, when Witchery invited its customers to donate pre-loved clothing in return for a $10 Witchery voucher.
Since then, Witchery has donated large amounts of aged stock twice per year.
“At Witchery, we strive to inspire and empower women,” Witchery head of marketing Jennifer Petropolous. “We are a brand that is collaborative and welcoming and ultimately want our customers to feel unstoppable in all aspects of life.
“Partnering with a charity like Fitted for Work gives us the opportunity to support women who are dealing with personal struggles so we can ensure they feel safe and confident when entering back into the workforce.
“We are so thrilled to be donating over $400,000 worth of product to Fitted for Work and look forward to many more successful years partnering together.”
