Lee, Coach, Sambag and Camper will make their first stamp on the Brisbane retail market today with the opening of Wintergarden's $100 million redevelopment.

Stage Two of the shopping centre redevelopment will open to the public this morning, with a number of fashion players signing on including French Connection and Lisa Ho.

ISPT development director Chris McCluskey said Stage Two stores would raise the retail bar in Brisbane.

“Today shoppers will experience their first taste of new-to-Brisbane brands including Coach, Sambag, Camper and Lee Jeans,” he said.

"Every care has been taken to ensure customers are provided with the complete shopping experience from the cutting edge design of the building to the mixture of stores and diverse product offerings."

Lee's Brisbane flagship will feature a 10 metre tower of denim with over 2000 jeans, as well as a hanging installation by artist Jade Oakley which pays tribute to Lee jeans' lazy S shape.

Meanwhile, Argentinian designer Alberto Haberli has created the fit-out of Camper's store and Lisa Ho has teamed with long-time collaborators Nicholas Barber and Alexandra Bond.

French Connection will offer shoppers in-store iPads with access to its entire collection, as well as sign up opportunities for style updates.

The shopping centre has also undergone a facelift, featuring a three dimensional metal art façade rising 25 metres to the building's crest and extending nearly 90 metres down the mall's frontage.

The Wintergarden opened its doors in 1982 as the Queen Street Mall’s first major shopping centre.
