The domestic shapewear market is set to welcome another competitor, with a patented, medical-grade slimming garment hitting Australian shores.
US-based online player Wink Shapewear has opened a local warehouse and dedicated portal, winkshapewear.com.au, to service Australian ordres.
Wink Shapewear is manufactured with patented, medical grade fabric containing 49 per cent lycra and 51 per cent nylon.
Competitor Spanx produces shapewear with around 24 per cent lycra content.
Wink product categories include shapewear, post pregnancy and surgery garments, menswear and everyday wear.
Prices range from $55 for the Ultimate Belly & Hip Shaper to $150 for the Ultimate Body Lift, with colours across all categories ranging from black, white and nude.
All orders are delivered via Australia Post and incur a $15 flat rate transit cost.
