Perth retailers have scored a win.
The Western Australian government has given retailers the go ahead to open shop for a full day of trade on Easter Monday and ANZAC Day.
The National Retail Association (NRA) CEO, Trevor Evans, said the move will help businesses meet consumer demands.
"This decision is keeping in step with the changing needs of the industry.
"Consumers are demanding more flexible trading hours particularly surrounding public holidays, but retailers are often unable to provide that level of service due to restrictions.
"Giving retailers additional flexibility to choose how and when they service their customers is always a welcome boost to retail sector."
