Why this new warehouse is key for The Iconic, Camilla and Marc

Social enterprise Thread Together is set to open a new warehouse in Banksmeadow, Sydney this week. 

The warehouse opening will be attended by high-profile guests including the Governor of NSW, Margaret Beazley and the Premier of NSW, Gladys Berejiklian. 

The Iconic, Camilla and Marc, Ginger & Smart, IMG Fashion Events Group, Carla Zampatti and Bianca Spender are also set to attend the opening, showing their support for the enterprise which sources new and excess garments for vulnerable Australians. 

The opening of the new warehouse follows the launch of Thread Together's mobile wardrobes across NSW. 

In June 2020, four Thread Together utility vans stocked with apparel and accessories hit the road, travelling to communities including Wagga Wagga, the North and South Coast of NSW as well as metro Sydney.

The mobile wardrobes assisted a range of vulnerable Aussies, including NSW South Coast bushfire victim Judy Smith who will give a speech at the warehouse opening. 

The new Thread Together warehouse will open this Thursday, February 04 in Banksmeadow.
