Big W has embraced the supporting local trend that emerged during 2020, with the launch of a new 'Made In Australia' logo on a selection of products.
While browsing products on the Big W website, the Made in Australia logo will identify locally made products, with customers also able to search for 'Made in Australia' to surface the full range of products.
Currently, 623 Made in Australia products across home, sports and leisure, baby, health and beauty, bulk buys and snacks, cleaning and pets are available for purchase, with Big W set to add more.
"Supporting Australian communities, families and jobs has never been more important to Big W than now," the business said.
"That is why we have created this Made in Australia logo to help you identify products sold at Big W that businesses manufacture right here in Australia.
"Keep an eye out as we continue to partner with more businesses to add new products to the list," Big W said.
The move comes as many fashion business, including Hugo Boss, PAS Group and Ginger & Smart, focus on the local market in the wake of the COVID pandemic.
