Hugh Jackman has been named as R.M.Williams' latest ambassador.
The two Australian icons have collaborated on a campaign, 'Undeniable Character', that will launch in April.
The ambassadorial role is rumoured to be worth around $1 million.
It will see Jackman play a pivotal role in telling stories of the brand and the boots to audiences all over the world.
As part of his new appointment, Jackman was taken on a tour of R.M.Williams' workshop in Adelaide.
There he learned about the boot-making process and even had a hand at crafting a pair.
“RMs have been part of my life from my early stage days to where I am today," he said.
Last year, brand owner L Catterton Asia announced plans to enter the China retail market.
Chairman Ravi Thakran said he expected at least a 50% lift in earnings and a 40% increase in sales as a result of the move.
