Mulberry is opening the doors of a new flagship store in Melbourne tomorrow.

This is the first in a series of new store roll outs for the market set to continue throughout the year.

The 250 sqm store will be located within the heart of Melbourne at the luxury Emporium shopping centre on Lonsdale Road.

The store will reveal Mulberry’s new design concept, co-created by Mulberry’s creative director Johnny Coca and renowned British interior designer Faye Toogood.

Design highlights include wall coverings and hand-tufted rugs based on British landscapes hand-painted by Toogood’s studio, as well as bespoke “Mulberry Green” ceramic tiles displayed throughout the space.

The new flagship offer women’s and men’s leather goods, soft accessories and ready-to-wear from the new AW18 collection.

Mulberry and LRG signed a distribution deal for Australia in April 2018.

The partnership will see significant investment committed to developing the brand locally with additional new stores opened at Chadstone shopping centre, QVB, and further sites under consideration.

Mulberry is the largest manufacturer of luxury leather goods in the United Kingdom, with a 600-strong team of craftsmen and craftswomen based in the company’s two factories in Somerset, England.
