Ellery has broken with runway tradition, presenting her latest collection on large LCD screens.

The designer debuted an interactive digital presentation at Paris Fashion Week on Friday.

The spring 2018 launch spanned four rooms, with large LCD screens across three walls.

The immersive digital experience was accompanied by live music, with a dedicated hall displaying 20 key looks from the range.

In this room, audio from a specially-curated artistic abstract film featured interviews with key industry leaders.

The collection was inspired by the great scientific theorists of the 20th century.

The season's silhouettes were lithe and elongated, punctuated with voluminous puffy sleeves and delicate ruching.

The turn-of-the-century informed the wide square scoop necklines, bubble hems and sleeves.

Modernity was introduced through tailored A-line skirts, oversized button-up blazers, classic overcoats and puddle hem man-style pants.

Design lines were emphasised with curved top-stitching across swerved plackets and pockets.

Meanwhile, fabrics were highly technical with coated matte seersucker, metal cotton, crinkled silk velvet and innovative sheen tissue.

Patent glossy fabrics sat amongst soft lambs leather, checked suiting, crisp cotton shirting and dishevelled tweed.

Dandelion yellow, cognac, red, electric blue and silver colours were worked back with futuristic metallics.

Accessories included jewellery in silver, gold and colourful resin.

The footwear offer comprised creamy elasticated leathers, silk moiré jacquards and printed striped python.

The colours spanned from white, canary yellow, toffee and electric blue, with highlights including a perspex heeled ankle boot.
