Raffles College of Design and Commerce has partnered with Westfield Parramatta to showcase the works of emerging designers.

Six Raffles’ alumni will be exclusively showcasing their creations at the centre from August 5 to 31.

The creations are the result of a 30-week partnership as part of Westfield Parramatta’s community initiatives, which has seen a close collaboration between the designers and centre within every step of the design process.

The collaboration commenced with designers developing prints inspired by Westfield Parramatta’s AW16 Campaign “Be Bold, Be Creative, Be Inspired”.

It evolved outside the centre, with two designs being shown at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia this year.

Each of the designs showcased in-centre is from a Raffles graduate, with a competition set to run across social media channels.

Westfield shoppers are invited to vote for their favourite garment by ‘liking’ it on Facebook with a $1000 gift card awarded to the judges’ favourite designer.

A $500 gift card awarded to the design that proves to be the people’s choice.

Style Influencers Trash To Treasured, Stylendipity and Liv Rahme will be judging the creations.

Designers include Gemma Saccasan, Sara Aljaism, Anne de la Motte (design pictured), Ashleigh Kwong, Tiana Manja Miklecic and Leah Williams.
