Ed Harry and Queenspark are among the retailers who have signed up to the newly launched Westfield and Groupon collaboration.

Westfield is the first shopping centre to partner with a group buying site to offer customers a range of exclusive deals with retailers.

Until now details of which retailers are involved has been kept quiet. So far the only two apparel brands that have confirmed they will soon launch deals are menswear chain Ed Harry, which was salvaged by a management buyout last year, and womenswear brand Queenspark.

It is hoped the new initiative will help increase retail turnover and please bargain hunter shoppers.

Customers can save up to 70 per cent off products and services from Westfield retailers across fashion, beauty, travel and entertainment.

Shoppers must sign up to Groupon Powered by Westfield, at westfield.com.au or on Groupon.com.au, to access the deals and subscribers will receive new deals weekly.

To start with there will be one deal a week for eight weeks and retailers have already been locked in for these.

Deals can also be purchased via the Groupon and Westfield free mobile applications.

More than 100 shoppers have already signed up for the $45 one-hour Westfield style sessions on the new site.
