Westfield has partnered with Ellery on a new project - one which will soon involve the stars of Australian design.
Launching in Victoria's Westfield Doncaster, InHabit is a stand-alone retail experience aimed at local designers.
Developed by Scentre Group, which operates domestic Westfield stores, the concept will launch with designer label Ellery.
Future tenants include Dion Lee, Romance Was Born and Strateus Carlucci.
Each designer in residence will be in place for a maximum of six weeks.
The InHabit space is a bespoke area designed by Melbourne architect Matthew Herbert of award-winning architectural and design practice Herbert & Mason.
The unique structure will act as a gallery and retail space, for shoppers to view, engage and purchase fashion and accessories from the designers.
Scentre Group director of leasing Peter Leslie said the initiative is part of an ongoing commitment.
"Our dedicated program commenced in April 2014 with our sponsorship of several runway shows at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia.
"We are excited to launch the next stage with Inhabit on the 12th November.”
InHabit is located on Level 1, Westfield Doncaster.
