Retail powerhouse Westfield is giving retailers a chance to boost their business acumen via a set of fast-paced breakfast seminars to be held next month.
The Breakfast Seminar Series, which will take place across mainland Australia from September 6, will feature three speakers this year to address the theme of “A World of Change in Retail”.
UK-based best-selling author and retail commentator Martin Butler will share the lessons he’s learned from interviewing over 100 senior retail executives for his book “The Art of Being Chosen”, while leading digital strategist Mike Lundgren will talk to the trends that are reshaping retail marketing communications, from social media, to store check-ins to mobile marketing.
Sydney-based retail marketing specialist and columnist Jon Bird completes the speaker trio, and will share the latest in retail trends from around the globe, gathered from the most recent Westfield World Retail Study Tour.
The series will kick off in Perth on September 6, followed by Adelaide on September 7, before moving to the eastern seaboard with Brisbane on September 8, Melbourne on September 15 and Sydney on September 16. The breakfasts have been specifically designed for busy retailers, with doors set to open at 7am, first speaker at 7.30am sharp, and the final speaker finishing by 9.30am.
