Ahead of Earth Day this Friday April 22, Australian fashion circularity platform AirRobe has announced a new partnership with luxury label Viktoria and Woods.

AirRobe is on a mission to divert one million items of clothing from landfill by 2023 and is doing that through partnerships like the one with Viktoria and Woods.

Viktoria and Woods join other Australian retailers including The Iconic, P.E Nation, Rebecca Vallance and Oroton, to integrate the circular wardrobe platform into its website.

Viktoria and Woods founder, creative director and GM Margie Woods welcomed the deal with AirRobe.

"Sustainability has always been at the core of our business and my own personal life.

"As a company we are working towards an ambitious target of our own, to have a zero-waste operating model.

"With thanks to changemakers, like AirRobe who are helping us reimagine the business of fashion.

"We are committed to a long-term partnership with AirRobe and have integrated the one-click functionality to the Viktoria and Woods site to make re-commerce part of our shopping experience to help our customers shop responsibly," she said.

The circular platform allows customers to add new fashion purchases to their digital wardrobe at checkout, allowing them to resell, rent or recycle their pieces once they are done with them.

AirRobe founder and CEO Hannon Comazzetto said the new partnership with Viktoria and Woods will help it reach its goal.

"We’re excited to celebrate this year’s Earth Day by welcoming such a loved brand like Viktoria and Woods to our circular network.

"This partnership brings us one step closer to meeting our pledge target.

"It’s fantastic to have yet another iconic Australian designer brand on AirRobe for our consumers to love, wear and re-sell," she said.
