Australian designer label Viktoria & Woods has opened its latest boutique at Burnside Village near Adelaide in South Australia.
It is the latest fashion brand to set up shop in the centre this year. Uniqlo opened its third SA store in the centre, and luggage brand July made its SA retail debut at Burnside, with other openings and refurbishments including Ralph Lauren, Camilla, Simone Pérèle, Universal Store, OPSM and Sunglass Hut.
Country Road also confirmed it will open an expanded and refurbished store in the centre in October.
The new Viktoria & Woods store brings the brand’s total store count nationally to 17, including two standalone stores in South Australia matched with a David Jones concession. It is located on a corner site and is designed by long-standing collaborator Annabel Kerr.
The boutique features custom, communal seating and a cantilevered point of sale designed by Zak Frenkel, alongside local artisan work from the likes of Henry Wilson, Skye Jamison and Kerryn Levy and decorative lighting by Volker Haug and curated furniture pieces.
“With our Burnside Boutique, we wanted to create a space that feels both refined and welcoming. A reflection of the Viktoria & Woods woman,” founder and creative director Margie Woods said. “It was important to bring our signature design language to Adelaide in a way that feels uniquely considered.”
Viktoria & Woods’ latest boutique comes as part of a continued retail expansion for the brand, with three additional boutiques in 2025. These include a new site within Westfield Doncaster in Melbourne, a relocated Sydney flagship within the Strand Arcade, and a refreshed boutique space within David Jones Bondi Junction.
Each site, according to Viktoria & Woods, has been individually conceived to reflect its local context.
“This next chapter of growth is incredibly energising,” Woods said. “As we expand our retail footprint, each new boutique allows us to connect with our community in a more meaningful, tangible way – bringing the full expression of our brand to life across the country.”
