Women's fashion chain Veronika Maine has launched a new line of apparel, ahead of two additions to its retail network.

The new collection, titled “The Individual”, will drop into store today via select locations across Australia and New Zealand.

Veronika Maine brand manager Gill Vadgama said the fresh collection is a mix of clean lines, luxury fabrics and intelligent design, which “epitomises the ethos of Veronika Maine”.

“The overall feel and finish is modern, clean and sophisticated. Though fashionable and unique, “The Individual” collection is designed by Veronika Maine to be timeless,” she said.

“New proportions, controlled volume and unusual cut are balanced with Veronika Maine’s wearable, signature style. We wanted to offer a premium, timeless collection that we believe the customer is looking for, though it is not currently available on the High Street.”

Although Veronika Maine currently has over 70 outlets across both Australia and New Zealand Vadgama said “The Individual” premium collection, which boasts most fabrics sourced from Italy, will only be sold through the brand's top city stores.

Prices for “The Individual” pieces will range from $169 to $399, with approximately 20 styles on offer and a colour palette which includes a neutral palette of ivory, ink, nude and pebble, with flashes of bright zest and cobalt. Bold zig-zag patterns will also feature, mixed with graphic lines and sharp tailoring.

The Veronika Maine “The Individual” collection launch also comes ahead of two further developments for the brand, with plans to open a couple of new stores in Botany and Dunedin in New Zealand.

Following the recent launch of Veronika Maine Wintergarden, Burnside Village, Darwin and Cairns Central, Veronika Maine will open the Botany store in late October with Dunedin scheduled for February 2012.

Vadgama said it's possible the brand will also look to extend the “The Individual” collection if the launch is successful.

“The Individual” summer 2011 collection is the launch collection for the label. Though we may look to extend “The Individual” offering with another collection to be released in the Summer 2012 season,” she said.
