Van Heusen Australia has unveiled its Life Cycle collection, signalling its move towards becoming more sustainable.
The move sees the menswear label reduce its impact by introducing recycled fibres from suppliers that are audited to uphold high ethical standards.
The Life Cycle range forms part of Van Heusen's wider sustainability mission which sees the brand sets sights on reducing negative impacts like waste, plastic, carbon emissions and hazardous chemicals, and increasing positive impacts like ethically sourced product, packaging and suppliers as well as innovating for circularity by 2030.
"As part of a global initiative to drive change in the fashion industry, Van Heusen is helping customers make better and more informed purchases and being open about what we are doing to work towards a sustainable future," Van Heusen said.
"We believe being transparent about how our clothes are made is important in moving our business forward in meaningful ways.
"Recognising that resources are limited and human rights are non-negotiable, Van Heusen in Australia and New Zealand under the PVH umbrella, is focusing efforts on areas that drive impact across our business," the brand said.
The launch of the Life Cycle range aligns with the launch of the autumn-winter 22 campaign, 'A Moment For...'.
The campaign encourages customers to embrace dressing up again and is split into two key messages: A Moment For Style and A Moment For Celebration.
A Moment for Style heroes the return to dapper dressing and tailoring in everyday lives, while A Moment for Celebration reminds customers of the joy in celebrating major milestones in life where we dress up to commemorate special moments.
Van Heusen's autumn-winter collection is available now on the Van Heusen website and in store at Myer.
