Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) has announced the latest addition to its Cultural Program in 2016.
It's enlisted the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF) fashion performance Birrimbi Dulgu Bajal (Rainforest and Sea Dreaming) featuring 20 male and female models from Far North Queensland and the Torres Strait Islands.
Birrimbi Dulgu Bajal merges textiles, prints and fashion with performance in celebration of Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art and culture.
The VAMFF Cultural Program Project Series will take place on March 4 2016 at the National Gallery of Victoria.
The event is supported by Arts Queensland.
