Sydney-based second-hand fashion business Uturn has opened its seventh boutique in Bondi Junction following a brand revision.

Uturn has existing boutiques in Bondi Beach, Surry Hills and Rozelle, alongside a major outlet in Punchbowl and both a retail store and a dedicated vintage store in Newtown. The fashion reselling business has been operating for nearly two decades.

The new opening comes alongside the launch of a new brand vision and store concept.

“As a family-owned and operated company, our focus at Uturn has always been community,” Uturn Group founder and director Alex Dimou said. “Our mission is more than just selling clothing, but to provide a community service through access to quality and affordable second-hand clothing.

“Our stores have always been a place for creative expression and we are proud to open our new Bondi Junction location alongside a refreshed brand identity. For us, this moment is about both reflecting our position as a long-established leader in this space and igniting a movement towards a more circular future for new customers.”

Across this weekend of June 1 and 2, Uturn will mark the Bondi Junction store opening with a ‘Choose What U Pay' sale in-store.

Uturn’s collections include local and international fashion labels such as Zimmermann, Adidas, Lisa Ho, Oroton, COS, Bec + Bridge, PE Nation, Ralph Lauren and Acne Studios.

According to Uturn, these pieces will be specially marked and customers can choose what they pay starting from $10, with all proceeds of the sale going towards Thread Together - a charity that collects end-of-line brand-new stock from fashion retailers across Australia that is then donated to people in need.

Following this sale promotion, one per cent of all sales across all Uturn stores until the end of June will be donated to Thread Together.
