US retail giant Urban Outfitters has struck a deal down under.
Melbourne-based womenswear label Ryder has joined forces with the retailer to launch a series of exclusive collaborations.
In mid-November, five exclusive styles will be available online and in stores for Fall 14/15.
The range will focus on trademark Ryder styling, including vintage inspired prints, flannel and Fair Isle knits.
The collaboration stemmed from the successful launch of Ryder's Winter 2014 collection in Urban Outfitters stores in August.
The range was well received, with some styles selling out in weeks.
As a result of this success, Urban Outfitters approached the brand for a collaborative concept for future seasons.
Ryder design director Penny Brown said the venture is a significant one for the brand.
"The opportunity to collaborate with such a dynamic brand is an exciting opening into a fresh and new retail market.
"Ryder is all about vintage style and one-of-a-kind fabrics, and that struck a chord with the team at Urban Outfitters.
"Together we have created a wearable range that will fit into a timeless wardrobe, inspired by the past and put together in a modern way."
