Uniqlo has launched the next local compenent of its global campaign that explores the human nature behind fashion, The Science of Lifewear.
As part of the campaign Uniqlo, in partnership with The School of Life, will host a discussion that investigates the reasons behind people dress the way they do.
The event will delve into the conscious and unconscious influences behind these decisions by asking the question "why do we get dressed?"
Uniqlo Australia marketing director Tracey Lang said the brand was thrilled to be exploring issues surrounding fashion and looked forward to understanding more about its consumers.
"We want to challenge the Australians to consider the role of clothing in their lives, and how comfortable, practical and functional apparel can help improve their everyday."
'The art of getting dressed' will be held May 24 at The White House in Melbourne.
